Paralegal — Litigation Support

Our litigation paralegals are the operational engine behind some of the most complex defense cases in the state. Fully remote and integrated into our statewide trial teams, you will provide indispensable support across the full litigation lifecycle — from intake and discovery through hearing preparation and trial. We are looking for a highly organized, proactive professional who takes pride in precision and thrives in a collaborative virtual environment.
Work remotely while being an essential member of high-stakes legal teams. Our paralegals are respected, well-compensated professionals — not clerical workers. You will have real ownership of matters, direct attorney relationships, and a clear path to a senior paralegal or legal operations role.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and dockets across a multi-attorney caseload
- Coordinate and organize discovery, including document production and e-discovery management
- Prepare hearing binders, trial exhibits, and deposition summaries
- Draft correspondence, subpoenas, and procedural documents
- Liaise with clients, medical providers, and expert witnesses
- Conduct legal research and summarize relevant medical records and reports
- Maintain case management software and ensure accurate file documentation
- Associate's or bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred
- 2+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in California workers' compensation or insurance defense
- Strong proficiency with case management platforms (Filevine, Litify, or equivalent)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Casepoint)
- Familiarity with WCAB hearing procedures
- NALA or NFPA paralegal certification
